Kalimbas are lamellophones that originated in Southern Africa and can be found there in countless forms and designs. Our Kalimba B7 is carefully handcrafted in Germany from solid American cherry wood. The surfaces are treated and polished with vegetable oils and waxes. The 7 tines are precisely tuned to C-pentatonic, which supports intuitive and free playing.
