The HOKEMA Sansula Basic is an advanced version of the kalimba, handcrafted in Germany from European beechwood. No tropical wood is used, and the surfaces are treated with plant-based linseed oil. The instrument is packaged and shipped completely without plastic, making it particularly environmentally friendly. Thanks to our own photovoltaic system, its production is also energy-neutral.

The Sansula Basic is tuned to A minor and features additional notes of B and F, with the A note being used twice to create a strong overtone. This results in a unique, ethereal sound that captivates listeners. The Sansula Basic is ideal for improvisation and anyone can play it immediately.
