Playing as a duo
The original reason for developing the Twin Kalimba was the desire for an instrument that would allow for shared playing. Whether it's couples, friends, or therapist and patient, a shared sound experience is possible. The identically tuned sets of tines always produce harmonious tone sequences and sounds. The vibrations of the notes are transmitted to the wood and can be felt by the playing partner not only acoustically, but also physically.

Playing alone
Hold the Twin Kalimba horizontally in both hands, so that each thumb plays one set of tines.
