Kalimbas are lamellophones that originated in Southern Africa, where they can be found in countless forms and designs. Our Kalimba B7 is carefully handcrafted in Germany from solid American cherry wood. The surfaces are treated and polished with vegetable oils and waxes. The 7 tines are precisely tuned in C-pentatonic, which supports intuitive and free playing.

The Kalimba B7 Electro model is equipped with a piezo pickup and a 6.35 mm jack socket. This allows for direct sound pickup from the instrument, without an additional microphone.
